Valentine’s Traditions

Fashion

If you can believe it, I once wasn’t very big on Valentine’s Day. Probably because until I met my husband it seemed like I was perpetually single. I didn’t hate Valentine’s Day I just didn’t want to get hyped up for something that I wasn’t really going to be able to celebrate.

Then I met David and I began to up my excitement. You know dinner and movie cuddles level. I like dinner, movies, and cuddles so it was definitely something to look forward to.

Now I have kids and I am full on in love with the day of love. I’m kind of out of control. Pictures, decorations, cards and cookies!

Ya’ll I have found the best sugar cookie recipe. I wish I could claim it as my own but the credit belongs to Two Peas in a Pod. It is absolutely divine. Change absolutely nothing!

Sugar Cookie Recipe

I have been making them for a little over a year now and people think I buy them from some fancy bakery. I sent them to all the cousins and grandparents with a little picture of Ocki and Jean-Luc. I will have to report back if they survive the post.

Other Favorites for Valentines this year:

Dress: Chi Chi London Lace Dress

Shoes: Halogen Azaela Pump

Wreath: Target Berry Heart Wreath
