Willow Pattern and Toile — Fashion Faves

One pattern I’ve been loving lately is Willow Pattern and Toile de Jouy. Willow pattern is an elaborate pattern of blue on white (usually on fine china) inspired by Chinese art. Toile de Jouy is a french term for patterns stitched in one color onto fabric.

Although the patterns can come in any color, today I am going to be focusing on that classic bright blue on crisp white. There is something so bright and fresh about this combination that I just love! Not all of these are strictly willow or toile but all manage to evoke the essence of the patterns.
