26 Week Bumpdate

Fashion Lifestyle My Style

Today marks week 26 of my pregnancy so I thought I’d give a little update.

For the first time in my adult life my belly is bigger than my boobs. While I’ve always had a little chunk this is the first time this has happened to me. Baby bliss is about the size of a head of lettuce they say. Getting pretty big in there :) I don’t know if I look pregnant or just like a very apple shaped woman? I realize its very taboo to ask a woman if she’s pregnant so I haven’t had any inquiries. What do you guys think? Apple shaped or pregnant?

This is also not a maternity shirt and I hear that those accentuate the pregnant body a little better. I need to do some shopping!

I didn’t weigh myself from last time but I have been slacking off a bit in my motivation so I imagine I’ve gained quite a bit since the last update. Seeing these pictures though sure does motivate me to do better! Last check in I was doing about 4 x 1.5 mile runs a wk and 3 weight training sessions a week. The last week and a half I’ve slacked and dropped both in half. Not to mention I’ve been way over eating….So yeah, I’m a little scared to step on the scale.

I am starting to feel baby move a lot more. This is one thing I’m really happy about. Baby is usually most active between 8pm – midnight. The little kicks and punches are getting stronger and stronger. Even DH is able to feel them sometimes from the outside!

No unpleasant side effects right now except that I have to use the restroom with great frequency and panty liners are my best friends right now. TMI, I know.

Overall I’d say the pregnancy has been pretty pleasant so far. We’ll see how things go in the next trimester!

Definitely pregnant and so cute! You are one of those super adorable pregnant women Natalie! I am so happy to hear it’s going along well so far! Hahaha I love that the biggest thing has been frequent bathroom breaks! I love that you can feel the baby movement, that’s the best part! Love these updates Natalie! XO -Kim
